Chili Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 450g-500g Raw Shrimp (washed, peeled, deveined)

  • 5 tbsp Butter

  • 2 tsp Garlic, minced

  • 1 -2 Red chilli, finely diced (discard seeds)

  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika

  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, finely chopped

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a large pan, on medium heat, add the butter, once melted, add the garlic and red chilies.

  2. Sauté for 1 minute.

  3. Next, add the smoked paprika and Cajun seasoning. Sauté for a further 1 minute.

  4. Now add the shrimp and sauté for 5 minutes.

  5. Add olive oil, fresh parsley, lemon juice, and sauté for a further 1 minute.

  6. Remove from the heat and serve with either pasta or crusty bread! Enjoy!
