Golden Milk Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Steel Cut Oats

  • 1 1/2 Cup Coconut Milk

  • 1 Tsp. Coconut Oil

  • 1/2 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon

  • 1/2 Tsp. Turmeric (fresh or ground)

  • 1/4 Tsp. Ground Cardamon

  • 1/4 Tsp. Ground Ginger (can use fresh here as well)

  • 1/4 Tsp. Salt

  • Black Pepper (helps with turmeric absorption in your body)

  • 1 Tsp. Flax Seeds

  • 1 Tsp. Chia Seeds

  • 1 Tbsp. Raw Honey or Maple Syrup

  • Fruit and/or nuts for topping

Instructions:

  1. In a mason jar or air-tight container combine all ingredients except the toppings and stir until combined.

  2. Layer toppings on top and then seal the container and place into the fridge overnight.

  3. The oats will be ready to eat the next morning or can be heated before serving.

Note:

If using old-fashioned oats, the texture will be different and you may have to adjust the liquid-to-oat ratio.
