You are the offering
I saw a post the other day that said:
“My ability to read the room is the whole reason I be home.”
And baby listen…
I felt seen heard and understood ok.
Because…
I’ve been observing myself a lot lately, noticing how I feel and how my energy shows up and responds in and to certain spaces, places, and people.
I notice when I feel open and free, and I notice when I feel guarded and closed off.
And instead of blaming, shaming, or chastising myself, I’ve allowed myself to get and be curious.
Like, what’s happening here? What’s underneath that? What, or who am I responding to, and that has offered and created so much space for me.
And what I realized is…
I spent so many years on a job and in ministry leadership performing, conforming, and playing a role to make others comfortable, and to justify my place, my presence, and my position.
So many years compromising, shape-shifting, and abandoning myself that I’m not comfortable in any space or place that calls for me to do that in any way now.
My whole nervous system be like, Nah. This ain’t it. This ain’t for us.
And I’m so grateful for that because it offers so much space and opportunity for intention and alignment.
So…
I invite you to get curious.
To be the observer and witness.
Notice how your energy shows up and responds to certain spaces, places, things, and people.
And be honest about what’s there.
About what’s showing up for you.
And then move and act accordingly.
Because…
You are the offering.
You bless the world with your presence, your magic, your light, your love, your truth, your ideas, and your gifts, so be selective.
Be intentional.
Be in alignment with your mind, body, heart, and soul.
Be in alignment with your truth.
Love
