Disconnect
Sometimes, you have to go be alone to come back and be better, solitude is sacred.
- Lalah Delia
Connection is important, but in this digital age, so is disconnecting.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so this month I invite you to be intentional with your time and energy.
Disconnect from social media to connect more deeply, and honestly with yourself.
Turn down the noise, set an intention, commit to practices that heal and expand you and deepen your inner dialogue.
Take a step back. Unplug. Allow yourself to move and breathe without being witnessed, and without consuming.
Give yourself a break.
Step back and really look at yourself.
Look at your life.
Look at where you are, and allow yourself to witness and notice things you’ve never seen before.
Allow yourself to be free.
Healing, growing, and evolving is a lifelong journey, but you have to start from a real place, an honest assessment of where you are, and where you are headed, not a place that allows you to hide and be comfortable.
Social media is a mask, and it hides the truth and drowns out your voice.
So…
Don’t get lost on your journey trying to follow someone else’s path.
Disconnect and allow your voice and truth to be heard.
Stand in and on the power of your purpose and walk the path set before YOU.
