Spicy Teriyaki Salmon Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound salmon fillets

  • 1 cup rice

  • 1 avocado, sliced

  • Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce of choice

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or substitute)

  • 1-2 tbsp sriracha

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon  honey

  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic

  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger


Optional: red pepper flakes and sesame seeds


Instructions:

  1. Cut the salmon into cubes

  2. Add to a bowl

  3. Add the sauce, sriracha, honey, soy sauce, garlic and spices

  4. Coat the salmon

  5. Heat a pan over medium heat & add a little oil

  6. Add the salmon and cook for about 6-8 minutes. The sauce will start to thicken around the salmon

  7. Cook the rice according to the instructions

  8. Add salmon, rice, veggies, and avocado to a bowl!

  9. Top with black sesame seeds!
