Mic Check

I saw a post that said:

“People who ignore their own body's needs will ignore yours too.”

And listen…

Your body is your home. It has carried and supported you through every moment and experience of your life.

If you don't prioritize taking care of yourself, how can others expect you to take care of them?

Think about that.

Sit with it and ask yourself some real questions.

And notice what you do with the answers.

Where are they being held in the body?

Can you pause here?

Can you unclench your jaw?

Can you soften your forehead and drop your shoulders?

Can you take a deep breath?

What emotions, feelings, and sensations do you feel?

Checking in with our bodies helps us stay aware and connected to source.

It allows us to deepen our connection to our experiences, honor our needs, and find our voice. Most importantly, it teaches us how to love ourselves and others.
