Rules and Expectations

There are so many rules and expectations.

So many things we are expected to do, and so much commentary about how we are supposed to show up, but let me put you up on game real quick…

THERE ARE NO RULES.

Literally…

“All the rules are fake. Do you.” ~ Adria Moses

Nobody can tell or teach you how to walk the path or fulfill the purpose that you have been called to.

Nobody can tell or teach you how to find your voice.

Nobody can tell or teach you how to hold or respond to the truth of your heart.

As a coach, I can guide you along your way, but ultimately you have to do the work. You have to find your way, so…

Do you.

“Do not conform to the ways of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” ~ Romans 12:2

Baby, that’s biblical.

GOD said that.

So…

Honor and acknowledge the purpose you’ve been called to.

Walk the path that has been set before you and pour into that.

And do not compromise, debase, or alienate yourself.

You are the artist of your story.

You get to choose and decide how you show up in the spaces you’ve been called to.

You get to choose how you engage and create.

You get to decide how you want to be in service to, and in community with the world.

You get to choose how to walk in your ministry.

And do not be changed or moved.

Because…

“If something can change what you do, it can change who you are.”

So…

Consider the outcome.

Consider the cost.

How do you want to be known and seen?

How do you want to be remembered?

How do you want to honor the call of your heart?
